Cyber Essentials
Cyber Essentials represents the UK Government’s minimum baseline standard for cyber security for organisations of all sizes in the UK. The annually renewable certification scheme is aligned to five technical controls designed to prevent the most common internet-based cyber security threats. Cyber Essentials consists of a verified self-assessment questionnaire, and certification demonstrates that an organisation is protecting itself by implementing the most important cyber security controls.
Cyber Essentials is priced according to the size of your organisation:
• Micro (0-9 Employees) £320 + VAT
• Small (10-49 Employees) £440 + VAT
• Medium (50-249 Employees) £500 + VAT
• Large (250+ Employees) £600 + VAT
Cyber Essentials Plus
The verified self-assessment questionnaire of Cyber Essentials is a prerequisite to Cyber Essentials Plus. Although based on the same technical requirements, Cyber Essentials Plus includes a hands-on audit of your IT systems to verify that the controls are in place, giving more assurance that you are complying with the scheme.
Cyber Essentials Plus is priced according to the size and complexity of your network.
Cyber Assurance
The IASME Cyber Assurance standard is a comprehensive, flexible, and affordable cyber security standard. It provides assurance that an organisation has put into place a range of important cyber security, privacy, and data protection measures.
Level One
The prerequisite for IASME Cyber Assurance Level One certification is to have a valid Cyber Essentials certification in place. Level One consists of a verified assessment and is a risk based cyber security standard, comprising of controls which are divided into themes. Organisations need to meet the requirements of all the themes in order to achieve certification against the standard.
Cyber Assurance Level One is priced according to the size of your organisation:
• Micro (0-9 Employees) £320 + VAT
• Small (10-49 Employees) £440 + VAT
• Medium (50-249 Employees) £500 + VAT
• Large (250+ Employees) £600 + VAT
Level Two
It is necessary to go through the Level One verified assessment before you apply for Level Two, which is audit based, whereby an assessor will look for evidence of the controls and processes within your business, as defined by your Level One certification. Today, IASME Cyber Assurance Level Two is now accepted by a wide range of industry sectors as an alternative to ISO 27001 for small companies.
